Powered by single Volvo Penta KAD44P-B Diesel with DuoProp I/O Drive. The engine does not smoke at all and runs extremely well. Engine hours around 500 (meter was replaced).
The boat is in excellent running condition and good condition overall. Just surveyed in 2011. It cruises at 20 kts. at 3200 rpms loaded for an offshore trip and sips a gallon to a mile. The ride is excellent in choppy seas of 2-4 or 4-6 at 6 seconds like we normally have in Texas. It does not slam and is a very dry boat. The boat has a stand up shower and head, 3.5 KW Generator, Air Conditioning, Water Heater, and sleeping room for four below deck. Over the last two years of ownership I have been going over the engine and have replaced the following:
Alternator/generator, starter, oil pan, engine harness, all belts and pulleys, both diesel batteries, supercharger clutch, universal joint on outdrive, water pump impeller, and I just had the turbo charger rebuilt.
Full Coast Guard package, E-TEC outriggers, 75 Gal live well with view port and interior lighting, 300 gal fuel, 70 gal fresh water, underwater and under gunnel blue led lights, a Northstar M121 Chartplotter and Bottom Machine. Icom 422 VHF, Polyplaner MRD 60 Stereo and four speakers.
For the last two years the boat has been stored in slings under a boat house roof. I hate to sell such a wonderful boat but I'm between jobs and need to cut something back.
